Welcome! I am Nate I am a fishing instructor and guide.

My passion is to educate and inspire others to join in one of the most exciting and rewarding family activity: Fishing. Every time someone gets "hooked" on fishing, they embark upon a lifelong journey of great memories, good food and outdoor adventures. Fishing is relaxing, great exercise and mentally stimulating. There is really no end to the possibilities when you start fishing. Each new piece of water is a new puzzle to figure out, each species has its own personality. The drive to become the best angler that you can be is an amazing trek into the wild and untamed wilderness. Not just a culinary delight, these fish are beautiful creatures. The thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of watching that trophy fish swim away to visit another day is often reward enough in itself.

Washington has been blessed with so many different opportunities to meet these majestic animals. From the long and wide open waters to of the mighty Columbia to the small laughing waters of our coastal streams, the crystal waters of our alpine lakes to the calm suburban waters of the lowlands there is no end to the waters of our state. You could fish a different body of water every trip and still not run out of water to explore in your lifetime. Fishing has a deep and strong presence in our history as a state, and immersing yourself in the history is an exhilarating mesmerizing experience.

With so many avenues of angling to travel down, it can be difficult figure out where to start. Tackle stores just want to sell you tackle, guides just want to have you reel in fish from a boat that you don't have at home. If you don't know someone willing to teach you to fish, it can be a difficult process of trial and error, with many fishless trips and tangles before you succeed. These difficulties shouldn't deter you from joining the ranks of the successful anglers, but sometimes they can be discouraging and frustrating. With a head start in technique, location and fish biology and habits specific to your favorite destination, success can be just one or two trips away. That's my job. I give you a head start and a leg up in your journey. I am not just a guide, but a full service instructor, with a lifelong passion for the sport. My experience is your secret weapon. My skill is your arsenal. I have been a successful angler for decades and every time I can pass on and share my passion I couldn't be happier. I am a teacher, with patience and persistence I will impart my knowledge to you to fire up your passion and success. Nothing satisfies me more than creating another lifelong angler.
